"The Fault in Our Stars" quote analysis

In the quote "the fault in our stars" comes from Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar. Caesar is saying that it isn't fate the dooms men, but instead of their own failings. Which is pretty much saying that no one should blame others for their failings, but to blame themselves. John Green's version of the quote is that it's not our fault; sometimes bad things can't be avoided and there is no one to blame. But both are alike because they're both pretty much saying that people live and make their own decisions despite the fault in their stars, even though they know fate awaits them.
